E-commerce Operations Officer (健康食品貿易/ 熟識中國電商及物流市場)

A leading science & technology trading company in health food products is seeking a high-calibre professional to fill the following position, supporting the expansion into the Chinese market by managing e-commerce operations, logistics, and supplier sourcing in compliance with local health product regulations.

 

Responsibilities:


E-Commerce Strategy & Operations

  • Develop and execute e-commerce strategies across platforms

  • Oversee online store setup, product listings, pricing, and promotional campaigns.

  • Monitor KPIs, including traffic, conversion rates, and customer retention.

 

Product Launch & Market Entry

  • Coordinate product launch timelines and go-to-market strategies tailored to Chinese consumer behaviour.

  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to optimise product positioning.

 

Supplier Sourcing & Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for health products and packaging.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors in China.

 

Logistics & Fulfillment

  • Design and manage logistics workflows, including warehousing, inventory control, and last-mile delivery.

  • Collaborate with 3PLs and cross-border logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.


Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all health products meet Chinese regulatory standards, including CFDA/NMPA registration, labelling, and import documentation.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, E-Commerce, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce and logistics, preferably in health products

  • Proven track record of launching products in mainland China

  • Deep understanding of Chinese e-commerce platforms and consumer behaviour

  • Familiarity with Chinese health product regulations and import laws

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)

  • Strong negotiation, project management, and cross-cultural communication skills
