Asst. Engineering Manager (Newly created role / Toys)

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate quotations and optimize tooling processes to enhance efficiency.
• Assess engineering samples and provide clear modification guidance.
• Collaborate closely with our head office and suppliers, offering technical support throughout the development phase.
• Oversee the development process, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to production.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and failure analyses to drive successful product development.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualifications in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 8-10 years of experience in toy engineering.
• Knowledge of soft toys, hard toys, mechanical, and electronic toys is a plus.
• Strong technical expertise in toy product structure, mechanism design, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with EU toy standards.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• A self-motivated individual with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Open to new challenges and excited about exploring new product categories.
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
