Our client is a dynamic, rapidly growing brand seeking a strategic, visionary leader to drive its global merchandising and sourcing operations. This pivotal role will oversee high-performing teams across China (Shanghai, Shenzhen) and the Philippines.

Strategic Merchandising & Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive merchandising strategies aligning with brand identity. nalyse market trends, competitor landscapes, and historical sales data to optimise category performance and seasonal assortment planning.
Global Sourcing & Supply Chain Optimisation: Lead the China sourcing strategy and diversify the vendor base to mitigate risk. Identify, vet, and manage strategic partnerships while implementing rigorous COGS management to maximise gross margins.
Operational Excellence & Quality Control: Maintain industry-leading production standards meeting QA/QC protocols. Monitor production calendars to ensure 100% on-time delivery and drive sustainability/ethical sourcing initiatives.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Lead, mentor, and scale cross-border teams (Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production) in China and the Philippines. Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, and present strategic roadmaps to executive leadership.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of experience in product merchandising and global sourcing, with at least 3–5 years in a senior managerial capacity.
Team Leadership: Proven track record in regional, cross-border team management (specifically China and Southeast Asia).
Technical Skills: Deep expertise in the China manufacturing landscape, vendor negotiation, matrix sourcing, and strong financial literacy (margin optimisation and COGS analysis).
Language: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese to manage international and regional stakeholders.
