Assistant Sourcing Manager (Newly created role)

Details

An expanding trading and marketing agency is now looking for a high calibre to join the team as an Assistant Sourcing Manager:

Duties:

Utilize your existing network of manufacturers and vendors to build amazing, quality products
Source and procure off-the-shelf products (for example, electronics/household/fashion bags) in China and oversea
Work out an initial schedule of production and shipment with client and manufacturers
Plan pricing and secure quotes for products
Report all findings in a clear and concise manner to executives
Negotiate product pricing

Requirements:

At least 5 years of relevant working experience
Degree holder in Supply Chain Management, Business or other related disciplines
Understanding of the supply chain process
Ability to negotiate costs and report out details
Ability to travel and communicate to a variety of times zones
Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin
Understanding of quality certifications or equivalent education
Understanding product development, industrial design, engineering, and manufacturing will be definitely a plus
